Participate in New Project on Procoagulant and Apoptotic Platelets

The SSC Subcommittees on Platelet Physiology and Vascular Biology seek participation from experts in procoagulant and/or apoptotic platelets. There is a need for harmonization in this area since many of the markers/methods used today to assess procoagulant platelets are not specific (in isolation), but are also associated with platelet apoptosis. Therefore, this project aims to identify a combination of markers/methods that can separate procoagulant platelets from apoptotic platelets.
