ISTH awards Reach-the-World Fellowships to recipients from Brazil and Nigeria
The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) announces two recipients of its 2025 Reach-the-World Fellowship program.
Reach-the-World Fellowships offer junior clinicians and researchers from selected developing countries the opportunity to study at host institutes known for their expertise in thrombosis and hemostasis.
The program aims to promote knowledge and expertise in one or all of the areas of medical care, laboratory methods and/or research. As part of the program, the ISTH provides fellows with financial support for travel, accommodation and living expenses for a fellowship period of up to four months.
The 2025 Reach-the-World Fellowship recipients are as follows:
- Adebukola Orolu, M.D. (Nigeria)
Host institute: Shabrawishi Hospital Blood Bank and Egyptian Company for Biological Sciences Research Laboratories, Egypt
- Gabrielle de Mello Santos, M.D. (Brazil)
Host institute: McMaster University, Canada
